The JOKER Mayhem jig is exactly that, mayhem! Now available in more weights and colours!

It’s a compact and fast moving jig that darts and swerves on the pitch and has an intense irregular flutter on the fall.

Any predatory fish will be eager to hunt this one down!

Description

The JOKER Mayhem jig is a feisty little jig with an aggressive look but it’s actually fighting for survival, fish just want to eat it!

It has a smaller profile and is now available in 60g, 80g, 110g and 150g and currently available in 5 great colour schemes.

This jig was a winner at mid range depths or closer inshore but with the addition of 110g and 150g it will now be highly useful over the offshore wrecks. To be used vertically from a kayak or boat.

When the rod imparts quick short pitches this jig darts and carves before it falls back with an intense and irregular flutter.

Any predatory fish will be eager to hunt this one down!

Personally I flick between the mayhem and the chunki flasher myself, I have had outstanding results on both. Slimline and great movement is key and these products own that !

Having been commercial bass fishermen for over 20 years we thought that we had got all the bases covered, livebaiting , shadding, all forms of eels, jellies etc, that was until we tried these little mayhem jigs, we were having a tough day on the inshore reefs, the fish were there but not taking any of our traditional lures, we suspected that they had gorged themselves on sprats and were not really feeding. We decided to dig out the spinning rods and tie on a couple of mayhems and see if we could tempt the fish to feed, we both dropped down and after the jigs got down to a depth of 65 feet in 70 feet of water they both stopped, both lures had been taken on the drop, to cut a long story short we caught over 40 bass in just over an hour, nothing big but it turned a poor commercial day into a successful one, we duly placed an order for more and a few days later we received them, these lures are now our “go to” lure when the fishing is difficult.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a great and detailed review Ian. I’m really glad that JOKER is now a firm favourite on your boat, the Mayhem jig has an action you dont come across very often, but it’s certainly going to work wonders this bass season!
