The ORCA Slow Pitch Jig is another excellent streamline, quick drop jig & useful in all conditions.
It’s similar to the Slammer & Cobra jig in it’s streamline profile but it’s much shorter & more chunky, so you can go much heavier without the jig becoming too long.
A highly versatile jig, it should be really be referred to as a ‘mixed pitch’ jig as it can be fished at any speed or depth.
Always mix up the rod pitches to increase interest from bigger fish! The Orca profile also creates a surprising amount of flutter given it’s smooth lines and shape!
It’ll catch any predatory fish and works well using typical slow, medium and fast actions! It’s also great for working up through the water column a bit faster, a great way to encourage fish to move in and attack.
Watch for hits at the top of the pitch, during the fall and any pauses in the jigs movement.
